I am designing a sweater in DK weight Merino, which will be mainly black with a red flame design on the sleeves and a flame motif on the chest. It will be for a ~40" bust at approx. 5.5 sts/inch. So...how many 100g hanks should I order?

6 sts to the inch for a 40 inch sweater - I would get 2100 yards of yarn.
How much to get in each of the 2 colors will depend on how much of the sleeve and how much of the chest is in the red flame.
