I was making squares for Afghans for Afghans last night, and decided now was as good a time as any to learn Continental - and I got it! So far it's not faster (I think right now it's slower as I adjust) than my English and the tension is a bit off, but that's to be expected. I feel so cool.

That's awesome! I'm not even sure how I knit, though as I was taught by my grandmother I suspect it's English. I ought to look into it...
