I have finished my chunky cowl neck jumper at last, but will definitely not be able to wear it now that the weather is warmer,so it will have to be packed away till next winter.
My cream Irish Hiking Scarf is also finished;I'm very familiar with the pattern by now,as this was IHS # 5 ,so it knitted up really quickly !

Yup, it SNOWED (!!!) here last week and that looks like the perfect thing for chilly weather. Also love your variegated wasitcoat (with the cables up the front). Can you tell me what pattern you used for that one? thanks -- claire |

Minh, the cowl neck jumper which I have just finished is my second one - the grey and white jumper in the photo is one I made last year.It is very warm and cosy, but is quite "oversized",so I made my second jumper (royal blue and jade green) a size smaller,so it fits a bit more snugly - I still need to photograph it and some of my other more recent FO's!
Claire, the pattern I used for the variegated waistcoat comes from a Get Creative book which I bought at my local Spotlight store.I recently bought some taupe/beige coloured yarn with an almost brownish fleck in it,which gives it a "tweedy" appearance, and am using it to make a second cabled waistcoat.

Leslie, sorry for the mistake -- I didn't notice the date you uploaded the picture! Oversized sweaters are nice to wear at home, they're like a big blanket but no once sees you looking like the Michelin Man :)
