The LYS owner has a blog, and last month she mentioned that one of her customers had a sister who would like to learn to knit to make snuggles for her fav. animal shelter in Utah. I like to crochet and have a favorite pattern that I often use for an. sh. donations, so I crocheted a batch of 10 rugs/snuggles using TLC yarn and dropped them off for the lady to send.

Well, the next time I visited the store, the owner said the rugs were gorgeous, very appreciated, and that she (owner) was going to learn to crochet.

Yay!! Maybe now she'll stock some crochet patterns and appreciate us "other" yarn buyers.
