| It's so nice to see everyone excited about SPUNmag.com. I've been helping out with it for the past few months and have high hopes for it. I hope you'll all enjoy it... and contribute to it! (we're always looking for patterns) |

Hi,
I am such an absent minded silly arse.
I just went and subscribed and got a message to say that I'd already done so.
DOH!!!
Knit in peace and harmony.

Does anyone know what has happened to SPUN magazine? It's now mid-October and even the August issue hasn't posted. Has it ceased online publication?

I emailed the editor about this a few weeks ago and this was her response:
quote: There's been a change of staffing at SPUN and a note will go out soon. Basically, I resigned as editor to concentrate on my family and career. Tara Schorr is the editor now. She's awesome. From what I understand, there will be a new issue in early November. At least, I know that I have to give her the book reviews in time for that.

I just received this from the mailing list...
...The next issue of Spun Magazine is set to launch in December, just in time for last-minute holiday knitting.
While you're waiting for the next issue, why not sketch out an idea for a pattern or pitch a feature article for 2006. We'll be accepting submissions for our "selfish knits" issue until January 15, 2006. We want to see what YOU want to make for yourself that is fiber-arts related. Knitting, crochet, felting, macramé, needlepoint, weaving -- you name it, we want it. So get busy!
