I've made several shawls out of KnitPicks sock yarns - they turned out lovely and warm.

MMario - I don't live in the 21st century - but I play a character who does.

I like the price of the fingering weight Palette - it is OK wool, not the best I have used but for the price a great value! I do a lot of Civil War period knitting and many of the patterns are fingering or lace weight yarn on size 9 or 10 needles (amazing, isn't it?) and it can be very hard to fine 100% fingering or lace weight wool. I wish they had more colors....
