A few years ago, I bought a beautiful hand carved wooden needle holder for storing a sock in progress. I gave it to a fellow knitter and now can not for the life of me find the company online any more. Does anyone know the name or have the website?
Thanks :)

That was really nice of you to give yours to a fellow knitter! They are lovely.

I think I actually bought it a few years ago for KR gift exchange. They are very beautiful. I've never used them, but I'm sure it works really well. I'm working on a list of "knitting gifts" I'ld like to receive for Christmas, birthdays, etc... My husband likes to surprise me, but still wants to know I'll like what I'm getting.

I was the recipient in that exchange, and it really is beautiful! Everyone who sees it comments on it, and they have never seen another. I have seen plastic, and even cardboard versions, but this is by far the most beautiful. I have really enjoyed it!!

| That is a great gift idea! DH has been asking me for knitting/spinning gifts made out of wood (our 5th wedding anniversary is coming up and the theme is "wood"). I already have a swift, a spinning wheel and plenty of wooden needles so this would be great :) |

Minh, you could ask for the really fancy, carved one! The man who makes them does an excellent job. My husband does custom woodworking (cabinetry, millwork, etc) and was impressed with the quality. I'd go for the $99 "bundle of reeds" carved one!!
