It's been such a difficult news week - and an even more difficult reality for our many friends in Japan - that I thought perhaps people would enjoy a momentary escape into the comforting realm of yarn. So this week I take you on a road trip to Belfast, Maine, and a small farm and spinning company called Good Karma Farm. Enjoy!

Thank you for the link to Heavenly Socks. What a great web site this is. Not only does it include a couple of free knitting patterns, but it serves as a guide for places to visit in Belfast. Although the web site is not an online store, it invites questions about the stock. It makes me want to make the drive from upstate NY to Belfast, ME. I signed up for the monthly newsletter.

Good Karma Farm will be at the Maine Fiber Frolic (June 4 and 5 at the Windsor Fairgrounds) so I'll be sure to stop by their booth and fondle their yarns ;)
