No, not this year. I have (non-knitterly) friends coming in from out of town and am looking forward to spending the weekend with them. Sure wish I could do both though. On the other hand, my stash can certainly support me for another year...

ditto - my stash could probably support me for another dozen years. And I too, have family events going on this weekend. Maybe next year.

I went today and was very well behaved. I picked up some yarn for my stash (actually some I was actually looking for) purchased a set of circular signature needles and info for other items to fill my room

I went for the first time in two or three years (on Sunday). Crowds seemed smaller than I recalled, but more vendors. Perhaps because it was Mother's Day and/or the threat of rain kept people away. Hey Lanea, I bought one of your wonderful bags! I'd been looking at your etsy shop and wishing there was more inventory. Now I realize it was all at MDS&W! I'm not sure I really enjoy S&W, it's so exhausting and overwhelming. But it's great seeing a lot of stuff in person rather than online. |

Lanea, I'm curious about your bags too. I favorited your site on etsy, and will check back later. I love the idea of being able to knit while I walk. Love. It.

| Lanea, the bag I bought is now in use. Beautiful fabrics, simple elegant clever design, and wonderful craftwomanship. It was one of the small ones; now I think I'm going to need a bigger one! |

Lanea, I can really see the value of that, now that I'm bringing my knitting with me on the underground. The other day I got up and had to unwind the yarn from around my legs before I could move. I've heard of that happening, but it was the first time for this new knitter! I laughed and laughed.

Peggy, I'm so glad you like it! And thank you for your compliments--that means so much to me.
Robinstephanie, I've done that too, and dropped DPNs, and walked away from a train not realizing my yarn was still on the train . . . I love that I can read or knit on the subway rather than driving to work, but my clumsiness made those bags a necessity.
I'm sorry it's taking me so long to post bags in my etsy shop, but I jumped right into revamping my studio to make way for a new table when I came home from MDSW, and things are a bit chaotic at the moment. I do have a couple dozen bags waiting to be listed, so once I can get to my camera I'll hop to it.

Kudos to Clara for a FABULOUS KR video tour of MDSW. The first fiber festival I've "visited" without buying anything! |

Glad you enjoyed it! And you're right, with a virtual fiber festival you have no walk of shame back to the car with pounds of yarn and fiber...no sore feet, and no fried dough overload either.

Fabulous video - thank you so much! It brought me big smiles and great joy this morning (and saved me thousands of dollars and a tummyache from over-indulging in the yummy foods).

| Thank you for the memories. This year was my first experience at the MD Sheep and Wool fest, and I'm still on a fiber high, I even caught a glimpse of myself in your film and felt the excitement all over again. Once again thanks for the wonderful short film you've captured it all. |

Yes, great little flick, Clara! I've never been to a ff before, so it was real fun for this newbie to see what goes on. And um, loved the end credits. "And for god sakes, wear wool." he he he. nice.

I wondered if anyone would get to the end of the credits! I figured what the heck, why not use that moment to proselytize. I had many, many more clips that could have, and should have, made it into the video. Time and my laptop's processing power got the best of me. Next time.
