I've knitted two Moderne Log Cabin Style afghans since the first of October, with occasional time out for sleeping and eating and not much else. They are for Christmas presents.

I am in awe! Two afghans in less than two months, and they are lovely. Congratulations to you and to the lucky recipients.

Man, I thought I did a lot of knitting with my garter stitch shawl. These are like, ten of those shawls, at least! Since October?! My my my.

What a labor of love. They look terrific and will look so nice spread out on a bed. I especially like the second one.

Lovely!! I have a log cabin in my to-do wishlist. Maybe soon I'll get out of my knitting funk and get moving!

I love the idea of a log cabin quilt! We have a new knitter in our group of knitters. She is the DIL of one of the members and she is making one! A brand new knitter and her quilt is lovely also; her tension is great and in one month it is huge! Our member has done a great job of teaching her to knit!
