I'm seeking a nearby knitter in Milwaukee, WI. I would love to get together with someone & just chat, knit, & share patterns & ideas with each other.

Hi, Charitable, and welcome. You might try going to a local yarn shop and talking with the folks who run it. Often times yarn shops will have a knitting night or afternoon where folks can meet at the shop and enjoy the craft. This would be a safe way to get to know some other knitters. Or take a class at the shop. I did a Google search ("yarn shop milwaukee wi)and found several shops in the area. Of course you are the best judge of where to go. Happy Knitting
