Hi, my name is Daria. I've just joined the forum so I hope I'm posting this in the right place??
I used to knit a lot, but when I had my kids I had to give it up - I had neither the time nor the patience then! Since my kids have grown I haven't got back to it as much as I used to but I still collect yarns and patterns that I want to knit and crochet. I'm really bummed that there are always fewer good crochet patterns than knitting ones. Why is that?
Right now I'm looking for patterns to knit up a yarn that has been discontinued, so I may be back soon in another 'topic' looking for ideas and patterns!
Nice to join you all. Daria |

| Hello Daria, Welcome to KR. I think you'll find all the answers you need here. And it's fun to share what you are doing and have completed with fellow knitters. Crochet does seem to get less attention some times, but the patterns have come a long way. If you don't already know about it Ravelry.com may be a good place to look and they have both free patterns and patterns to purchase. And it's free to join. Hope you like the KR forums. |

Greetings, Daria! A hearty "Hello" from Colorado! Welcome to the KF! You might check out lionbrand.com & freepatterns.com.; they usually have some nice patterns for both knitters & crocheters!

Hi and welcome! Glad to hear I'm not the only one having trouble finding time to knit with two young ones (a 4 year old and almost 1 year old). So happy to have you here!
