I love knitting. I just had to get that out of the way. Now I can tell you I learned how to knit from my grandmother. She taught me when I was about 11 years old. I knitted small projects for a few years and slowly drifted away from knitting toward friends, boys etc. About 6 years ago I picked up my knitting needles and fell right into continental knitting again. I had joined a knitting group that met in the library every Saturday morning. With their support, instruction and friendship I have come into my own. Laura

Laura,
Welcome aboard, KR is a great resource with many friendly folks.
My sister lives in Hillsdale - not too far from you. Have you visited Wonderful Things in Great Barrington?
Happy knitting! Evelyn

Welcome from the midwest - Nebraska, to be exact. I didn't realize that Coxsackie was the name of a town....I only knew it was the name of a virus! (Can you tell I work in a lab? They don't let me out much.)

I know you'll enjoy the forums here, as everyone is so helpful, and we all get along. Do be aware that we are enablers, too, so if you're easily tempted...you have been forewarned!
