Hi, I am Lynne and I'm from the Southeast United States. I've been knitting for about six years now. I am an empty-nester and owner of three very spoiled cats. I guess you could really say they own me!

I love to knit prayer shawls and lap blankets. The prayer shawl ministry at my church was re-started last year and I love being a part of the group. We meet once a month to knit/crochet. The items we make are given to those in the congregation who are ill or bereaved.

Looking forward to "meeting" all of you online.

Hi and welcome from Oz. We are cat people here too and I am often tempted to knit stuff for them but they would probably not appreciate a finished item. However they do appreciate the knitting process. They love catching the yarn while we are knitting and eventually we come to a soggy bit that has been chewed by a cat. We have to be grateful that they have not chewed through it.

I knit a hug into every stitch
