I just received the Sept/Oct 2012 issue of Natural History magazine with an interesting illustrated article by Lynn A. Meisch on Andean spinning and weaving. The author is noted as being Professor of Anthropology at Saint Mary's College of California, with almost 30 years researching traditional textiles and other matters in the Andes of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia.

Just thought I'd mention it in case this magazine isn't on people's radar.
