Hi! I'm working on a project that's knit in the round and uses three balls of yarn. The pattern is very basic--2 rows in garter of one colour, 1 row of seed stitch in another, then 2 rows of garter in the third. My question is, what's the best way to carry the yarn up along the seam? Should I bother weaving in the 2 colours I'm not using as I go, or when I need to change colours, just pick up the appropriate colour without adding too much tension? I have started weaving, but am not entirely sure if I'm doing it right as it looks a little bulky to me.

Thanks so much for your help!

I would carry it up the inside and if it's too bulky right there maybe try catching each color on a different side of the middle.

Does that make sense?

I think so, Linda. I've tried a couple of different carrying methods that I found online, and alternating seems to help. Thank you for the advice!
