Finally finished. Nearly six months late. It was supposed to be a birthday gift for 5 December last year. There were difficulties. The yarn I used is beautiful. soft silky shiny but if you drop a stitch the whole thing sort of collapses in sympathy. It was very hard to knit.
It was the audobon shrug in a plus size knitting book.
Now I must go to bed as I am zonked.

Congratulations for your perseverance!

One lucky daughter will be happy.

I once gave my mom one pink sock, and the second one on the needles, not even down to the heel yet.
To be honest, she was not amused, but she did get her sock eventually!

I started a blanket when my daughter was 8 years old. She is now 19 years old. She found it and knew it was for her, it was in her favorite colors. Donna Its Done
