I got my first machine in the 1980's, a Singer bulky. It did not have any punchcard or milar features, but I made many Mary Maxim picture sweaters on it. I still use it. I also have a brother 910 and a brother bulky punchcard. I did not get to use them much when I was working, but now that I am retired I really enjoy my toys!
I enjoy making shawls and lap robes for the Vets homes and nursing home for Christmas. I love learning all the tricks and tips from the forum and I'm glad to be able to participate.

Hi Kelly, Welcome from Northern California. Congratulations on retirement, recent or not, and having that time to play with the knitting toys!
