I am in St. Petersburg FL. I learned to knit from my mom when I was a kid and put it down for many years. I took it up again when I stayed home to take care of my dad. Knitting gave me such joy during those seven years! I am still a passionate knitter. I also learned to spin using drop and supported spindles and sometimes spin for my knitting projects. I like to make hats and neck warmers for charity and for myself I like to do lace knitting. I look forward to being a part of this forum.

Welcome to the forums from Maine! I, too, learned to knit as a child, and have been knitting nonstop since my early twenties! I most enjoy knitting for my granddaughter. Hope you enjoy the KR Community!

Hi Ticuta, welcome to KR, from Northern California. I'm a fellow spinner, who also enjoys using handspun in my projects.
