i knitted a diaper cover in red yarn with white trim and a santa hat to match for my 11 month grandson who lives in oklahoma. it took 4 or 5 frogs but i finally got the size right! he wore it for his 1 year pictures and i havent seen him in it yet. waiting for the finished photo. i was so proud!

Isn't it fun when you see them wearing something you've knit? My granddaughter (4 years old) is always asking me to knit her something. The request right now is for slippers like the felted ones I made her mother years ago. You can bet she'll get a package soon and I hope she'll want to learn how to knit one of these days. Someone will make out pretty good when I join the knitting angels (at least I hope I join THEM and not the ones down below...bet the knitting devils have to deal with dropped stitches and tangled mohair all day long!)
