Hello, I'm new to the forum and not sure what to say. My favorite style of knitting is unknown at this time although I lean toward cables and wholly like lace. The gently falling snow and mirror-like clouds emphasize the soft quiet of the wonderful slower pace of life and the kindness of a fireside. I may not be very literary but I enjoy playing with yarn and words. Additionally, softness and texture are big draws for me as well as wood needles. Interesting contrast I suppose. My name is Melanie and being a part of the forum, listening to others input and ideas will be a great thrill. Thanks for letting me participate.

Hi, Melanie, welcome to KR. Softness and texture are a big draw for me too, particularly texture. I'm always getting right up close to things to check out their textures, and have a hard time stopping myself from touching things. Not always PC, I can tell you. Hope you have a good time here. Tells us what you're workin' on!
