Hello all, My name is Helen, and I live in a retirement community in suburban Philadelphia. My mother, a needle arts enthusiast, taught me to knit and crochet before I entered grade school. My interest in needlework lapsed during my working years and, now that I am retired, I have immersed myself in the knitting world. I am looking forward to being a part of this knitting community.

Hi Helen--

Welcome to KR, from northern California. I was out in Philly a few years back, and LOVED it! Glad you've had a chance to return to knitting and needlework, and to the wonderful community of fellow fiber enthusiasts. I love that part of knitting, the instant sisterhood.
