I just finished winding six hanks of this stuff (2 each of 3 colors) and it is going to have to be the best yarn I have ever used to make me buy it again. I haven't KNIT with it yet, just preparing for a baby blanket ... I have never had such trouble getting a yarn to turn into that flattened ball/cake on the winder!
There were two knots, one in each of two hanks, so that isn't a big deal to me, but the hanks tangled like nothing I have ever used before. I spent all one afternoon untangling one hank (the first half had been wound already) from the other end; I was told I had a lot of patience, but I wonder if "patience" isn't akin to "stupidity" in this case. My time was worth more than that yarn, methinks. And then I ended up winding that second half onto the ball by hand. As a matter of fact, I finished winding several of them by hand.
Anyone else have this trouble?
