Christinac,
Thanks for sharing the getknitted pattern. It's a simple felted purse made from Rowan Magpie Aran with the strap and roses knit with Noro Kureyon. Maybe this link will open for you...

The free patterns are in the left hand coloumn but I cannot open the files from my end so you will have to tell me what they are like !
Actually I have just found pics of Elle Bag & Belle Bag - Here -

This is a picture of one of the other free bags on that site called 'Fiona' but it is not felted-

Christinac,
Do you have the latest version of Adobe Reader? That may be why you can't open these PDF files. You can download the software for free here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

That's too bad that your computer isn't cooperating.
I can sympathize...we finally broke down and bought a new computer last year because our other one was so terrible! It was only 6 years old but I guess that is equivalent to 120 human years!

Yep - our must be a geriatric too- it is a well used ( well loved )Windows 95 made by a Jap company that went bust just after we bought it called Sampo ! We prefer to save our cash for a new big car - we have 4 kids between the ages of 1 year & 13 years & other needs financially take priority - so somethings on my PC work - other things i have to ask other people about or ask DH to see if they pass his efficient computer 'policing ' system @ work !!! ( he can sometimes print things off that I cannot open at home )
We all have to prioritise in live .......

Pippspurse,
That pattern sounds great, I'd be interested in taking a look. Let me know where and how I can purchase the pattern.
Thanks.

Two Old Bags has some good purse patterns. I knitted up the "Double Handle Project Bag". Nice & roomy after felting with straps that start wide and narrow at the top. Very easy to understand the pattern.

Christina, I didn't see a free pattern on that one site for a bag, though I think the text said it would be in June. Thanks for all the links.
