You girls have just destroyed me............... First I find out I might be able to use a 100% alpaca yarn, Then I discover it can be felted. Then I start thinking about a felted bag. And then I discover all these beautiful bag patterns you have posted. STOP! STOP! STOP! I'm supposed to use my SS check for things like food and medicine...........Let's see, how much food can I give up without starving?????????? How many beans can I eat without exploding??????

Fran has a sense of humor. I'm in te same boat as her and Janice. I also have quite a bit of felted bag patterns, plus. And can't do everything I'd like to do.Money doesn't pay for happiness, but it's sure nice to have when it comes to feed your habit.(Knitting)

I would love to knit and felt a teardrop purse. I was looking for a pattern but as I cannot find one I thought that maybe I could just knit and felt a large rectangle and then sew it together like a regular sewing pattern. Could I do that?? Also, I see, Christinac, that you have a way of finding patterns. I love that there is someone else that LOVES free patterns as much as I do. More money for yarn!!LOL Any suggestions??

Sorry I forgot to tell you what it looks like. I would like to make one that looks like the back saver you can get from LL Bean.
