Hi All --

Just wanted to let you know a new felting forum is starting today...purely felting focused, wet felting and needle felting combined.
www.feltingforum.com

We don't want to steal anyone away from knitters review...just give all felters their own place on the web, which is something we haven't had before.

Best!
Marie

I love decorating my felted projects with needles felting designs. What fun! I learned about needle felting last year at the Michigan Fiber Festival (coming up again in August) and I was immediately hooked. I haven't had quite as much luck needle felting a whole project. I mean, it worked, but I'm not crazy about the final product - a purse. Julie

Hi Julie --

Did you use a needle felting TOOL to make your project?
I have made a TON O purses like this, then I wet felt them...way fun.

In fact, some felting friends and I just back from California where we filmed 3 TV shows for DIY on needle felting projects. One I did was a purse.

Here are some purse pics:

Marie

I just love your work on your website. I have done felted beads and felted soap. Nothing larger than that. I have been thinking of using a tennis ball as a form to make small bowls with. I am thinking of joining your forum as I want to venture into needle felting as well.
