To give your post a more unique look, you can easily change the size, color, or font of your words. Keep in mind that others will be reading your posts on different sized monitors, so you may not want to go uber-elaborate with these qualities, but used with care, your posts can have a little added character without much extra work.
If you use the “Reply to Topic” option (which is at the top right of the post, where it says “Topic Locked” in this thread) you will be taken to a screen that gives you the form including options for changing elements of your post formatting, including Bold, Italic, Underline, Strike-out, Left Margin, Center, Right Margin, Horizontal Rule, Insert Hyperlink, Insert E-mail, Insert Quote, Font, Size, Color, as well as many forum smileys.
Clicking on those options will give you a set of brackets, like these [bracket] [/bracket] of your selection. Simply type your message in between the brackets, click submit, and there you have it!
If you’d like to check your message before posting it, you may click the “Preview” button, and you will see the formatting in place as you have entered it.
A more technical explanation of this coding is explained in the FAQ section, specifically here: http://knittersreview.com/forum/faq.asp#format
