The NY Times of May 28, 2006, has an article about "The Largest Wool Doll Ever Made". Seems a custodian for the Rudolf Steiner School from the Dominican Republic stumbled onto a teacher making something will wool and needles. He became interested and then addicted.

So he applied to the Guiness Book of World Records to see if anyone else had made the Largest Wool Doll Ever Made. There wasn't even a category for this item. He made a life-size Abraham Lincoln.

I think it's so interesting how one substance can influence so many.

It seems to me that there haven't been too many postings in this area for a long time. Any ideas why?
