Is it way too late to join the ring? I'm not really turning into a quilting blog. Not yet anyway.

Hey--thanks for putting my email address on the web for robots to steal, Shruti. . . I am always willing to help, but that's not ok.
You petition to become a member by putting your info in at ringsurf, which you just did. And then I review your page and make sure your code is correct, and then I either tell you what to fix or let you in. If you want help, you need to ask me, not display my contact information on the web. I think I've made that pretty clear on KR and on the ring membership page.
You mention that you have tried to get help adding the button--and you got help, from several people who explained how to do it--I just looked at the thread. For whatever reason you didn't follow through, and that's ok, but please don't put this on me. This is the first time you've petitioned to join the ring since I took it over, and you filled out the form today. I know we have a time zone difference so the 28th is much further along for you than it is for me, but you need to be patient. I am not paid to tend the ring. I do it out of the kindness of my (shriveling, bitter) heart.
I have tried very hard to be helpful to everyone interested in joining the ring, and I've announced here in the thread that my computer got zapped in a storm, so I really feel like I'm keeping up my end of the (all volunteer) bargain. Sheesh. I need a coffee. And a nap. And a cookie. And a pony.

Email address deleted. This has been a huge and entirely volunteer undertaking and I thank you, Lanea, for all your work to make this happen.
The pony is now on its way.
