I had wanted a Lady B for ages, but hesitated over the price, until I found the "outlet" section of her website (lexiebarnes.com). I ordered my Lady B for half price!
I have been using it almost daily for a few weeks now, and have nothing but raves. It has plenty of inside pockets for notions and doodads (I have tons of notions that stay at home, and a slightly condensed set that stays in the bag.)
For the daily commute/lunch hour knitting, I usually have a few small projects like socks, golf club covers and scarves, but there is definitely more than enough room for a larger project, plus yarn.
The fabric (mine is in Dutch Treat) is really cute, and I am impressed with how durable the construction is, and how easy the bag is to carry around.
Lexie even included a gift of a makeup bag with my purchase!

The site said something about taking the outlet items on the road (e.g., to Stitches). It will probably be back.

I just bought a Lady B bag at Stitches East from Lexie. I got the black and white skull pattern. It was a discounted bag as the fabric is upside down on one side. I did not care. I said it makes it look like the heads are rolling! As soon as I got home, I moved myself into this bag. I love it! It is roomy, has lots of pockets, and it zips closed! None of my other bags that I used for knitting bags zipped closed. I have a luggage tag that I attached to the handle on the outside with my name and phone number - in case of the odd occurrence that I leave it somewhere. Michelle http://astitchadane.blogspot.com

Michelle, I liked the skull bag, too! Mine, you can't even tell that the fabric is upside down (the Dutch Treat fabric looks almost identical no matter which way it goes).
Trust me, you will adore your Lady B. :)

| I just ordered one from kpixie.com. My soon to be ex-husband offered to buy it for me as a birthday present. It was a nice offer and I took him up on it. I'm hoping to get it sometime soon and I'm very excited!!! |
