I picked some wild grapes over the weekend and processed them for jelly. I used the leftover "mush", which is generally compost fodder, to dye some sock yarn. I got a nice lavender color that leans towards grayish. I will check the color, when the yarn is dry, later today and post some pics.

Jeri, don't be surprised if your yarn fades. Grapes are a stain, not a dye, and therefore are neither lightfast nor colorfast.
