I'm new to this and pray I'm doing it right I don't have much in the way of knitting yet but would like to show and tell a few things.
I've set up the account, made a logo, joined the KR group (I think)and will add a few photos when someone tells me how to post my site! I think it's set up as Cheerleader9 but not sure.
Can I come play with you??

Barb your photos have been posted so yes you did it right.
Expat2 - although that may help keep our WIPs under control it would disappoint my little boy who takes all my Good photos!

Thank you Wen. One more question.. How do the girls put their website URL on the forum postings? Example: yours above. I went to my profile page,saw the section Cool Links, put in the flickr info but haven't seen it just "be there" when I make a posting. Is it automatic or is it necessary to write it in with each posting?
I sent the page site to my family and they are so proud of me for figuring out how to show my work. Of course they are the ones on the gift receiving end :-)

Hi Barb -- Here's how to put something in your signature line: Go to ypur KR profile page and look for "Signature." That's where you can put your name and any other info, and if the "Signature checkbox checked by default" box says yes, then it will show up every time you post.
To post a URL, such as the link to your Flickr album, do this -- (remember to replace the < and > with [ and ] or else it won't work) -- <url="http://your link goes here">
For much more helpful information on how to use hyperlinks, the KR FAQ page is here. Information on formatting (colors, fonts, sizes, etc.) can be found here. Clara's instructions are clear and should guide you through anything you want to do.

Gads but I feel dumb! Here's what I'm doing. I've tried putting it into the homepage link as well as the cool link section. This is what I'm TRYING to put in. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/cheerleader9/]
Signature check box says yes. Get an error note each time saying it should start with http:// Have tried it several ways. More help needed??

The info has to be in the signature section of your profile, over on the right side of the page. The homepage and cool links only show on your profile page. Also, I see that I made a mistake -- leave off the brackets, the url=, and the quotation marks unless you're making a text link, which you're not. Sorry!
