I am curious to know what is your favorite podcast/s and why.

I think each one has their own special offering. I like the KnitPicks Podcasts because Kelly almost always has a piece of educational information and her book reviews allow me to become aware of books I never knew existed. My second favorite would be Sticks and String. I enjoy learning about the culture and manner of speech in other countries so this podcast from Australia fullfills that particular desire. As a side note does anyone know of any knitting podcasts from France or Germany?

My favorite would have to be Lime & Violet. Lime & Violet and sometimes Carin are just hilarious. I bet their S&B is a hoot! Not always all about knitting but always funny & a bit (sometimes more than a bit) irreverent.

Running a very close second would be St Brenda with the fabulous voice and her Cast On podcast. I like most of the music she plays and her Today's Sweater is one of my favorite features. She often has a guest essayist, such as Franklin Habit of The Panopticon fame. A lot of good stuff about all aspects of knitting and fiber.

I happen to like one called Cast On. It's labeled philosophy in i-tunes. Then again, there are so many to chose from and I can't wait to go through them.

Stay well,

My favorite is "Stash and Burn". Each episode is well-organized around a theme, Nicole and Jenny and both informative and entertaining.

A close second is "Sticks and String".

I also love "Stash and Burn"...it's become my favorite now. It's the conversations I wish I could have with other knitting friends on a regular basis.

After that, it's Kelley Petkun's KnitPicks podcast because it is so informative and (to me) inspirational. I've tried so many things as a knitter that I thought I'd never do - socks, fair isle/steeking, design.

There's also Ready Set Knit with Kathy and Steve Elkins from WEBS. I also learn something from the KALs they have. I just wish I could participate in them (too many WIPs and too little time prevent that)!

Lime & Violet is my favorite one. And of course Cast On. Another favorite is Knit Picks. I wish Franklin would create a podcast. I think it would be wonderful to hear his voice, since he sounded so good on Cast On. It would also be terrific to hear the antics of Dolores and Harry as well.

I also like "Yarnspinners Tales" since I'm a spinner. She has a nice soft voice and is very informative. She does a bi-weekly podcast.

There are several more, but, I don't listen to them regularly. I play catch up with them.

Only 5 episodes, but Insubordiknit is great too.

I love L&V and Cast On as well, but since they had already been mentioned, I thought I'd throw Insubordiknit in.

Thanks for the lead. I've been listening (watching) to cat's Let's knit together. So far, I'm not tempted listening to how other people are knitting their progress, so I'm happy with this.

My favorite is "Sticks & String".

I've tried lots of others and I can't stand chatty/giggly podcasts.
They really grate on my nerves. grrr!

I enjoy listening to Craftlit. With all of my works in progress, I don't have time to read.

I listen to those already mentioned, but would like to add "Knitmore girls", a mother and daughter team that is fabulous.

In addition to the above, I also listen to Changelings Knit and Stitch, It's a Purl Man, Knit Science, Socks in the City, Stitch Stud and his Bride and Yarn Thing. I miss some that have come and gone! Great idea for Franklin to have a podcast!!

My favorite is Sticks and String. I do, however, enjoy the KnitPicks podcast and Cast On. I don't like the giggly ones either.

I listen to a lot of the ones that were already mentioned but one I really enjoy that I didn't see is YKnit.

I forgot all about knitting podcasts after listening to Lime and Violet a couple of times. Now I have a Nano so they can travel with me.

What a great list to choose from. Wow. Thanks so much for the topic, too!

Cat's Let's knit together. I get irritated when the podcaster mumbles and giggles incessantly during the podcast. Knit Picks & Cat's Let's knit together does it professionally.

I subscribe to the KnitPicks podcast with Kelley Petkun. I like the mix of interviews and tips/ideas/personal input. I also enjoy 'Craftcast' with Alison Lee -- some knitting, but many other types of crafts too, plus great music.

I love Sticks and Strings and Ready, Set, Knit, too. A new one that I am really enjoying is called KIPing It Real.

Hi,

My favourite is Sticks and Strings, as the guy is an Aussie he is so much easier to understand than a lot of them, I also like the American lady that now lives in Wales.

Knit in peace and harmony.

Sticks and String and Cast On. I like Kelly Petkun as well, but I changed podcast catchers, and I'm having trouble getting signed up correctly for hers.

I like The Knitting Show, a conversation between a brother and sister, mostly about knitting.
