i just finished "the story of edgar sawtelle". i just loved it! what a great story and what a way with words the author has. i keep thinking about it...and i finished it a week ago.

btw...this is a great forum. knitters like to read, don't they?! do you read and knit at the same time? (not me...but that would be the ultimate.)

This week I have a guest with me at the beach, and she has been engrossed in this book! Her recommendation echoes your own, and I certainly plan on getting my hands on this soon!

Have read about 2/3 of it. I'm going to be very sorry to finish it. This book is one I'll remember for a long time.

I picked up this book to take on a trip to Wisconsin -- the story is set in the Chequamegon National Forest and it was neat to see the setting while reading the book. I am going slowly because the plot is based on "Hamlet" and I am having trouble remembering my Shakespeare! I will have to brush up on "Hamlet" so I can thoroughly enjoy "Edgar Sawtelle".
