I keep buying these and adding them to my knitting bags for various things. For instance - Tampon Case is used for tapestry needles, crochet hooks, weaving needle, etc. Condom Case is used for stitch markers. Toothbrush Case is used for DPNs. Razor Case is used for scissors. Click on the Personal Cases and Travel Cases link on the left to find these. I'm not affiliated with this company in any capacity other than that of customer. Link:

Hi Sara Sue.. wow this is a brilliant idea! In fact, will start looking for similar type of cases here, probably cheaper in Singapore but thank you for sharing!

I wear glasses all the time. When I get new glasses they invariably come with a nice leather case. In a lifetime of wearing glasses I've never used the cases so I give them away to my knitting friends who use them as tool holders.

Those are very cool cases! Thanks for the link.

I use old prescription drug containers with the label removed to hold stitch markers. They close securely so no accidental spillings and cost me nothing.

I still have a nice supply of 35mm film canisters -- free and work great for small things like stitch markers and point protectors.

Sara Sue, you've reminded me; I have two cases from new glasses that were tossed on the bottom of a knitting bag. Forgot to use them! Thanks.

Grace and claire, I use mine, too. Different sized ones help me find the CN, or the markers by touch when they are hidden on the bottom of the bag.
