Oh! Thanks for this info. I have the book, I have the pattern, I have the needles, I have the yarn. I'm not on Ravelry, but will happily KAL 'in absentia'.

Actually, I decided to try for an invitation. The 4-day wait will give me a chance to get some of the first sock done!

I am loving this sock! I can't wait to see all the socks knit from the KAL.
My mother made me a homosexual. And if you give her some yarn, she'll make you one too. ~quentin crisp http://purlewe.typepad.com/ |

I love the ones I made! The yarn wasn't the best choice, but, the pattern is great. You can see a picture in Ravelry or on Flickr.
I want to make another pair but have way too much OTN. I will check out the KAL to see all the pretty socks. Angie My Ravelry My Pictures |

Hi All,
GTFC, I know you've found me on Ravelry now. I'm enjoying the KAL. I'm slow because I have other projects underway too, but I've finished 3 chart repeats for the leg now. There's a photo on my blog: http://knitsonthebus.blogspot.com. I just like the way the pattern feels when I work on it. Does that make any sense?

I'm now on the gusset of my first Guernsey. And signed on to do the "Little Shells" socks KAL in April. And I'm making dishcloths...and a mitred scarf (KAL)....And "Jeff's Pub Sweater" (IK Spring 2009) for my son...and still working on my "Climbing Vines Pullover" (IK Winter 2008)...And I'm having a blast!
