Thanks for the link, Kristina. I got about one-third of the way through the article, and realized I would need to set aside enough time to recover from the despair that I was feeling, so will finish it up over the weekend. How did you handle the emotional reaction?

This article was written by a republican! It just confirms what most of us seem to already know which is that our elected representatives in Washington are not there for us. Totally demoralizing.

However, this, and all the other stuff like it, will not stop me from exercising my puny little vote.

Our semi-Demi-Democracy WILL really die if we don't vote in vast numbers.
