I have a singer chunky 155, and am wondering if other larger needles are available somewhere for the knitting machine, as it will only knit up to the #4 yarn, and yet it is a chunky knitting machine, so should be able to handle #5 yarn. The needles are larger than the LK150, but not by much at all.
If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
Thank you,

You buy only the needles designed specifically for your machine. If you install a needle that was not designed for your machine, the Singer 155, you run the risk of seriously damaging not only your carriage, but also the needle bed.
Each machine is made to exacting specifications. Everything must match or you could ruin your machine.
Remember, not all #5 yarn is the same. Some is spun tighter than others. So, some you could use on your machine, others not.
Sharon in NW PA I always wanted my own library but I didn't realize it would be all knitting books!
