I recently ordered a lot of elastic thread in many different colors from DBNY--the description mentioned you can use it in knitting, jewelry making, weaving, etc. I was wondering if i could knit it along with the yarn for sock cuffs--esp. for kids' socks. Has anyone had any experience with this?

If you are knitting crew socks, elastic is unnecessary. You'll want it in the cuffs of knee socks, but please see my response to your other post about elastic elsewhere in KR.
