| Hi, I have been knitting off and on for over 20 years, but would put it down for years at a time. I am now retired and have 12 projects going, and am trying new things. Socks are on my horizon. I have one sweater going but prefer scarves and bags. I just got a copy of "Pop Knitting" which knocked me out. I was an art teacher so I also paint and draw, love to read and cook. |

Oh Bonnie, you are so lucky to be in Belfast! The Good Karma Farm in Belfast, Maine is hosting a crank in, for the circular sock machine knitting group, on the 23rd and 24th of this month. It is just 13 1/2 hours from me, like I'd just hop in my car and drive right over. (not) You could run over and check it out! Here is a link: http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/csmanchors/2067576/1-25
Now, back on topic, welcome to our group! The gals here are wonderful and helpful. We'd all love your input.
Sharon in NW PA I always wanted my own library but I didn't realize it would be all knitting books!

Hi Bonnie, welcome from Australia. This forum brings us all together. Are your 12 projects all relatively new ones or are they ones from previous knitting stints years ago? I was knitting a little "pram set" for my second baby but it was never finished. When he got to be about 20 I figured he would not use it so I frogged it.
