I'm happy to report I've finally finished my Sweet Tomato Heel Socks (Cat Bordhi's technique)!

They look great Pam! Sweet Pea is beautiful. I am working on Columbine Peak (a Cat Bordhi pattern) in Madelinetosh - black velvet. Just started the heel flap. I'll have to try the Sweet Tomato Heel Socks next!

Your socks look great. I've been thinking about trying the heel on my next pair of socks.

The thing I liked about it is that once it's done, it's done. No turning the heel and picking up stitches. Also, I found the heel to be very comfortable, wearing-wise. I'm now working on another pair of plain socks with the heel.

How does one learn about this? Is there a pattern you recommend? Sounds exciting!

Actually, all you have to do is Google "Sweet Tomato Heel" and her YouTube video comes up!

I love your socks!...and especially the heel. I may have to knit a pair to try them.
