My first experience in crocheting yarn with metallic glitter was very unpleasant but I was surprised and pleased with Lion Brand Bonbons "party". It is easy to work with and my crochet hook did not get hung on the strand as I crochet. Another glitter yarn that I'm equally pleased with is Caron's Simply Soft, "Party". It is soft despite the metallic fiber in it.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm thinking the Celestine pattern (the knitted three-dimensional star) would be so cool in a glittery yarn!
