This is what I have on the needles right now: slipper socks, scarves made from Red Heart Sashay yarn, a sweater, a Teddy bear, a baby blanket, etc. Wow!

I'm on the final color segment of a Garter Squish blanket, which should be about 4x5 feet when completed (I'm trying out the Willow Yarns Burrow to see how it compares with Encore). Then I plan to begin a pair of socks. I ALWAYS have table napkins in my grab-&-go bag, as those are always in demand by my daughters. Also, there is the Hitchhiker Scarf from hand-drafted mawata, on which I can stand to work for only short periods of time. I'm always knitting baby hats and an occasional baby blanket as part of my church group's ongoing charity projects.

Donna, with intentions always bigger than her available time. (OkieDokieKnitter on Ravelry)

Wow, you guys are prolific. I tend more towards circulating between 2-3 projects until completion.

What do you others do? Circulate widely? Focus closely?

I have a multi colored hat on the needles right now. Strange that's the only thing going but ... somehow it is.

I have more ideas in my head than projects on needles. Just finished a couple double-knit hats and now swatching for a sweater from recycled yarn from an old project. I'd rather finish one thing before moving on to another; but having said that, I have socks (that will be ripped out and re-knit into something else), shawl (1 or maybe 2), and cape/shawl thingy (that I'll tear out and turn into something else sooner or later) in time-out bags. And two pairs of felted slippers knit but waiting to be felted...they won't be in hot water until fall. Oh, and I have several things in my closet that I'm planning on eventually ripping out and re-knitting. If I don't wear it, I'd rather rework it into something I (or someone else) will wear.
