AND The World's Largest Crochet Hook all live together in Casey, Illinois USA, which I got to see today after visiting The World's Largest Windchime! (I decided to save seeing the largest Golf Tee for next year's trip.)

The town of Casey is just off I-70 between Effingham and Indianapolis. For those who don't have a chance to visit that area, here is the link: http://www.worldslargestknittingneedles.com

Note that the yarn shop these items live-in is closed on Monday during the summer. I was lucky enough to be peeking through the window to view both items when the owner showed up inside the store. It didn't hurt that I was wearing a pair of hands knit driving gloves, because Jeanette let me in so I could see them up close. Jeanette has been asked to bring these to the Vogue show in Chicago in July, so if you are going there, you should be able to see them. The needles and hook are wonderfully made and yes, they do work! I guess this gives new meaning to "knitting on the road."
