I made a lovely afghan with Rowan British Sheep Breeds bulky and DK yarns for my son and daughter-in-law in Sweden, and when we visited them this summer I found that the wool, especially the bulky, is pilling badly. The afghan looks like it has big grey worms all over it! They use it constantly, which may be why it has pilled so much. Does anyone have any idea how to clean it up? My daughter-in-law is not a knitter, so the solution (if any) can't be complicated, and I won't be back there for a year or so, so it has to be something I can easily explain to her and she can do herself. HELP!
