For anyone in the SD area, I just joined the North County Guild. The dues are only $20/year, which I thought was awesome. They're starting to have evening guest speakers, too. Chris Blysma is going to given 2 days of classes here, and attend our evening meeting as well the first week of September! I'm totally psyched!

Just got an email from my Guild:

Lily Chin, who has been a creative dynamo in the knitting business for the last 20 years, will be our guest in March.

Hi. I'll be visiting San Diego in mid-July. Any knitterly events of interest then for me?

How wonderful for you - I lived in Vista while attending Palomar back in the late fifties, and if there was a yarn shop in the neighborhood, I could never find it. Best wishes for continued success - sounds like you're doing well.

Does anyone know where the High Desert Knitting Guild is? I'm in Apple Valley Calif.
