| My son used to knit. Now he has a girlfriend who knits and decided it isn't cool for him. He started with single point needles, but very quiekly gravitated to machine knitting. Used to design his own ski caps. I think he was attracted by the tools. Maybe it's time to design some male "knitting equipment". |

| What kind of equipment did you have in mind? I'm game for anything that has to do with knitting! <G> I switch back & forth from machine to straights, to DPN's, and now circulars. I love to tinker with all tools too and find out how they work. I've repaired & restored several knitting machines to nearly pristine condition: Singers, a Brother, and a Passap. I love to take them completely apart, clean them, and reassemble. When I was a toddler, my Mom had to hide anything that resembled a screwdriver. I would take anything apart... toasters, phones, etc. What fun! |

A set of DPNs made from the lifting rods of an engine, or a ball winder made like a fishing reel? A yarn basket made from a professional football team helmet?

Hahaha jeorge I thinkmy PVP pipe spinning wheel is pretty manly And have you ever seen a knitting machine! also I used to make knitting needles with clay sports equiptment on the ends. . . those wold well in my middle schoolthough I never cared for them I am to lazy for sports lmfao
