Has anyone else attempted this pattern from "Faith, Hope, Love, Knitting"? I swear I must be crazy or this pattern is just plain wrong. I've searched for errata from this book, but can't find any sources online. Her written pattern is vastly different from the charted one, and frankly, the written one wouldn't even resemble the picture of the shawl. It doesn't even say what kind of cast on to use, but I'm assuming it would have to be a provisional cast on to get it to look like the picture. HELP... the shawl is beautiful and I have a gorgeous handpainted lace yarn I want to use, but I'm not going to start this until I know what the heck to do!!
Thanks for listening to my rant!

| THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! I searched for this... I guess her name and the name of the book wasn't enough. Shoulda put the "designs" part in there. And the error I was talking about was exactly what was addressed. You're a life saver, Miss Shaggy!! |
