berries against hand-dyed yarn

What do you get the knitter who has everything? Besides more yarn, I mean?

Readers and friends ask me this question every year. The answers are simpler than you may think. This week I present my list of 10 great gifts for knitters.

A Gift and a Challenge
To show my gratitude to you all, I'm giving you a sheep this year. Wait! Before you buy grain and check your local zoning laws, let me explain. The sheep will be given to a worthy family through Heifer International on behalf of the Knitter's Review community. And I invite you to join with a contribution of your own in our fifth-annual Heifer International year-end fundraiser.

Heifer has gone high-tech on us this year, allowing me to create an online gift registry through which you can find out more about the organization, make your tax-deductible donation, and get instructions for sending your donation to me by check. Thank you!

In the Forums: When Needles Attack
We know that fishermen and factory workers can suffer occupational injuries, but did you know that knitters can too? We're discussing needle-related injuries and how to avoid them.

As always, I thank you for your readership and your support.

Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums!
