Once again rendered speechless by a peony. ...

I started this at Squam, what, ten years ago? The assignment was to pick an image or motif and “paint” it onto fabric through stitches. Naturally, I chose cake. Now seems a fine time to see this thing through. I managed to get more floss for the cake part, but the original whipped-cream material is long gone. Gosh, if only there were a way to make more of this lustrous, robust, VERY MYSTERIOUS cream-colored material that almost resembles the coat of a sheep… ...
